The Mount offers a B.A. in Art Education for the student who plans to become a professional art educator. The comprehensive curriculum includes studio art, art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and an intensive two-semester course in the theory and practice of teaching visual arts.

The art program, coupled with professional education coursework, may lead to Ohio licensure as a Visual Art Specialist, pre-K-12.

The Mount offers graduate art studio courses in day, evening and summer timeframes for art teachers seeking advanced knowledge and skills.
