New for Fall, 2012
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree gives Mount undergraduate students the opportunity to earn an MBA with one additional year of graduate study.
“4+1” Program Model
As a Mount undergraduate student, you can begin taking MBA courses in your senior year and complete your remaining graduate coursework in your fifth year. Our "4+1" program model allows you to earn both your undergraduate and MBA degrees in just five years.
Applied Academics
Our MBA curriculum (36 credit hours) challenges you to strengthen and apply your knowledge in core business areas: managerial finance, accounting, economics, and marketing. Small class sizes also allow you to hone your interpersonal, team and group communication skills and to work one-on-one with expert faculty.
Ethical Leadership
A primary focus of the MBA program is on helping you become a business leader who practices ethical decision-making. We teach you how to consider issues of social responsibility and justice as they relate to business conduct.
Professional Internship
A project-based internship gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the workplace. Faculty work closely with you as you design an internship that builds essential interpersonal and technical competencies in your chosen field.
MBA Portfolio
The construction of your MBA Portfolio documents your business competencies for potential employers. Completing your portfolio is the culminating MBA program experience, which includes a formal presentation and faculty evaluation.
