Good morning Red Cloud.
Our final day here on the reservation. For me this is one of the hardest days knowing that is time to go back to my reality and my culture. Half of the crew went to the job site, the other half of us were now the clean up crew of the house where we stayed. The crew that went to the job site totally finished the mapping and then with the time they had left, they brought garbage bags to cleanup all the trash. By that point, the whole thing was finished and everything looked great.
It was now time to go back to the Red Cloud school to say what I like to say "see you later" which is a lot easier than goodbye because sometime in life I will see them again. We had dinner with some of the people that helped make our trip possible. It was great to thank them for all they did for us, yet they were doing the same for us and thanking us for all that we did.
It was then time to drive home to finish packing because we were going to wake up at 5:30 Cincinnati time which, where we were, was 3:30.
