The Music Department is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. Its mission is to educate students by fostering in them a comprehensive musicianship that enables them to hear, comprehend, write and perform a variety of music.

Programs are offered to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for pursuing graduate study and professional careers associated with music.

All-Steinway Schools demonstrate a commitment to excellence by providing their students and faculties with the best equipment possible for the study of music. That is why the only pianos owned by the institution – from the practice room to the recital hall – are designed by Steinway & Sons.

All prospective students must audition before faculty members prior to admission into the department, as well as meet the standard admission requirements of the College.
