The Health Sciences Instructional Suite, located on the ground floor of the west wing of Seton Center, includes over 10,000 square feet of classroom space and laboratory facilities, a research lab and multimedia computer learning center. A second Health Sciences Instructional Suite, located on the ground floor of the Science Building, offers a simulated hospital/home environment for the teaching of patient care skills.
The multimedia computer lab emphasizes instructional media, featuring an instructor console and 12 PC workstations with laser disc, VHS, CD ROM, and internet capabilities. Superior educational interactive software which includes ADAM Anatomy CD ROM assists students with independent learning for Gross Anatomy and other courses for the physical therapy, athletic training and nursing programs.
Classrooms are linked to the computer lab with capability for multimedia projection and feature therapeutic exercise equipment needed to work with patients.
The Health Sciences Instructional Suite has a lounge area for student relaxation and conversation and locker rooms for student privacy and preparation. Faculty offices and conference rooms are located on the first floor of Seton Center in close proximity to the Instructional Suite.
