Eight Mount students, juniors and seniors, recently spent a semester working and studying in London England. At the Mount, it is easy and exciting to study art or design overseas while also working as a co-op student. 
Each year, four to six students study at our London campus in the Kensington section of London at Huron University U.S.A. The students usually select two art courses, plus a theater course, and co-op for credit. The theater course uses London as an open classroom and consists of visiting as many as eight professional performances in the West End or the South Bank theater districts.
Co-op in London involves two days of work each week at a business or institution in the London area. These positions have included sites such as the BBC-TV, Harrods, Selfridges, Dulwich College, East/West Gallery, Hermes, Parliament, Bank America, and Visa.
Mount students may choose to study/work in London from the middle of their sophomore year through their senior year. The cost is roughly equivalent to that of a full-time resident student, with the addition of airfare. .jpg)
Beyond course work and co-op experiences, most students who are in London for a semester take a long weekend to visit Paris, Amsterdam or Brussels. Many take longer trips to Berlin, Madrid, Rome, or Athens after the term is finished
