National Survey of Student Engagement 2006
The 2006 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) was conducted on college and university campuses across the nation. The Mount received high ratings in all areas of student engagement. A brief overview of survey results:
- Mount faculty have high standards that most students accept and work hard to reach. In so doing, they go beyond even their own expectations — a fulfilling experience in the life of a student and the very essence of education.
- Students find the learning environment at the Mount to be an active one — working with other students during and outside of class, participating in class discussions, and doing community service projects together – the Mount is a very lively learning community.
- Warm, accepting, encouraging – these are words used by students in describing the atmosphere on campus and in classrooms at the Mount.
