As the new president, I am thrilled to be a part of this community and honored to introduce you to the College of Mount St. Joseph.
The Mount is located on a spacious campus west of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, that serves our entire community with academic programs, outreach initiatives and facilities to enjoy art, music and sports. Our students, faculty and staff create a welcoming campus environment, and students find a home away from home whether they live on campus or commute. We are all about teaching and learning at the Mount. Our mission as a Catholic academic community is to educate our students with degree programs emphasizing values, integrity and social responsibility. As a result, students exceed their expectations with a challenging and enriching education where they develop intellectually, morally and spiritually.
Smaller classes create greater faculty interaction, one of the best features of the Mount. Cooperative Education integrates academics with career experience, leading to employment opportunities at graduation. The Mount’s extensive cultural immersion and service learning curriculum prepares students as global citizens, with the hearts and minds to serve others.
Founded in 1920 as a women’s college, the Mount has always opened doors of opportunity with an education of excellence. The Mount is just as relevant today as a coeducational college of undergraduate and graduate students. The Mount’s entrepreneurial spirit has created innovative graduate programs for the 21st century, such as organizational leadership. Our partnerships with local hospitals and schools help nurses and teachers advance their skills.
I invite you to experience the Mount in person. Explore our academic programs, catch a Lions game for exciting Division III competition, visit an exhibit in Studio San Giuseppe, or enjoy a lecture or concert in College Theatre. If you are a prospective student, you can schedule a campus visit or contact an admission counselor online, anytime. And Mount alumni, you are always welcome home.
Sincerely,

Tony Aretz, Ph.D.
President
