"When someone asks me where I went to college, I am proud to reply, 'The Mount.' I would recommend the Mount to anyone. There I gained the knowledge I needed to be successful in my nursing career. Although there is always new information to learn, my education provided me with essential tools to continue to grow no matter where my career took me. The strong emphasis of a liberal arts college broadened my perspective both professionally and personally. My teachers also encouraged me to minor in business.

 

   "This is what I mean. My teachers saw me as an individual. Transferring in from a much larger university, I didn't know what it was like to have such mentoring, resources and sincere caring from my instructors.

 

   "Now, whether working as a nurse or raising my children, I use my Mount education every day. I contribute because I am grateful for the education I received and I want it to be there 50 years from now."
