Description:
As our city, country and world thirst for excellent leadership, now more than ever, women can learn from each other and celebrate courageous women leaders who successfully balance professional and personal commitments.
On Friday, October 16, the College of Mount St. Joseph is proud to host women from Cincinnati, including seven professional women from various backgrounds and industries who will contribute to a panel discussion about leadership. Together the women represent the fields of: corporate, nonprofit, education, legal, health care, and small business.
The morning will address the following topics within female leadership:
-
Making leaps from one industry to another
-
Handling conflicts between business and personal ethics
-
Overcoming challenges faced by women leaders.
Cammy Dierking, local news anchor and esteemed keynote speaker, will lead the discussion between the lively panel and engaged audience. Following Ms. Dierking's address and the panel discussion, event participants will connect through an hour of networking and small, roundtable conversations.
Additionally, Discussions of Leadership celebrates the 200 years of leadership demonstrated by the College’s founders, the Sisters of Charity. This year, 2009, marks the 200th anniversary of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati.
