The College of Mount St. Joseph is accepting applications for the position of Physical Therapy Program Director for our Doctor of Physical Therapy program housed within the Department of Health Sciences. This important leadership role provides an opportunity to lead a dynamic program committed to preparing clinicians who provide evidence based care while respecting the beliefs and values of the individual. Our program prides itself on faculty who are readily accessible to students and are dedicated to their success.
The Doctor of Physical Therapy program’s mission and philosophy grow from the strong liberal arts and sciences tradition of the College of Mount St. Joseph. The College is a coeducational Catholic college of 2,200 students that was founded in 1920 by the Sisters of Charity.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage program and resources
- Student recruitment and retention
- Research in area of expertise
- Service to department, college, profession, and community
- Teaching in area of expertise
- Contribute actively to the mission of the College of Mount St. Joseph
Position Qualifications:
- PhD/EdD or equivalent
- Experience in research with publication record
- Record of academic leadership with faculty development and mentoring
- Experience in curricular assessment
- Experience with CAPTE accreditation
- Eligible for Ohio physical therapy licensure
