Special parking arrangements have been made to accommodate the large number of people at the Mount that day. Members of the Office of Public Safety and Division of Institutional Advancement request that everyone honor the following arrangements:
- the rear lot of Harrington Center is reserved for commencement speakers, their families and special guests, as well as other guests with disabilities (guests should enter the driveway from Delhi Road);
- several parking spaces will be reserved on the ground floor of the parking garage for those guests who will attend the luncheon at the president’s home;
- parking is prohibited along the south driveway from the beginning of the Harrington Center to the stop sign at Seton Center/Art Building (this includes the parking spaces facing the Health Sciences Suite);
- the circular driveway in front of the Children’s Center is reserved for the members of the media.
While restrictions in the above mentioned parking areas are for the day of graduation, please do not leave any car parked in these areas overnight Friday, May 9. Cars found in any of the restricted areas on Saturday will be towed at the owners’ expense. If you need to leave a car on campus overnight on Friday (or any day before if you do not plan to be back on campus until after Friday night), please park it in the East or West lots.
Commencement is a wonderful celebration of the accomplishments of our graduates and special guests. Please be respectful of these arrangements to help ensure an enjoyable day for everyone. If you have any questions on these arrangements, please call the Office of Public Safety at (513) 244 - 4226.
