Psychology Alum Becomes Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County

Corey Straus graduated in 2011 from the Mount and is now the Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County.

Corey runs three site-based programs around the Hamilton area. He supervises volunteers and children working together. Volunteers help children with homework, socializing with other people, and provide social support. 

Corey believes that many of psychology courses were helpful for this position, including Child/Adolescent Development, Social Psychology, and Senior Thesis.
