The annual BBB Torch Awards Recipients Forum was held January 22, 2014, in the College of Mount St. Joseph’s Recital Hall.

Mount students were able to see Mount alumna Erika Lehman as the moderator and executive director for The Center for Ethics at BBB. Other panelists represented local businesses and public charities honored as 2013 Torch Award Recipients and included Pam Green, President and CEO for Easter Seals TriState; Valerie Landell, President and CEO for The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky; John Lindberg, President of Dial One Security; and Jim Salters, CEO at The Business Backer.

The BBB Torch Awards program promotes trust in the marketplace and honors local businesses and public charities for their outstanding commitment to fair, honest and ethical marketplace practices.

The event is one of many offered by The Center for Ethical Leadership at the Mount.  The event also counts toward requirements for the students enrolled in the Talent Opportunity Program (TOP). Students were encouraged to attend and network with the panelists following the program.
