Successful service learning supply drive for Hurricane Sandy victims

Mission & Ministry, Press Releases

An update on the Service Learning supply drive to help the victims from Hurricane Sandy. Kristen Hedgebeth, service learning coordinator, says she has a very "full car" of supplies -- quilts, sheets, tarps, baby wipes, diapers, formula, baby clothing, and tons and tons of items -- to take to Matthew 25: Ministries on Saturday morning. She said people continue to drop bags off. The Mount has also collected a large monetary donation.

"Thank you to everyone for your support," said Hedgebeth. "This is a classic example of living the Mount's mission to help others."
