Mount St. Joseph University is excited to share the news that Dr. Amy Murdoch, Associate Professor and Director of the Reading Science program, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Central Ohio Branch - International Dyslexia Association (COBIDA) Spring Conference. The COBIDA Spring Conference, to be held at the Quest Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday March 5th, 2016. The conference will feature Dr. Murdoch who will be speaking about topics in early literacy, ranging from phonological and phonemic awareness to activities designed to engage young children in reading.
Dr. Murdoch directs the Reading Science program for the Mount, which is now offered in a fully online format to graduate students throughout the United States and internationally. Under Dr. Murdoch's leadership, the Reading Science program became one of the first programs in the country to receive full accreditation from the International Dyslexia Association.
