The Mount's new Health Sciences Center on Neeb Road will hold an Open House on Wednesday, August 19 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at its new location, 672 Neeb Road, across from the Delhi Fire Station. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners are invited to see the new space that will accommodate the growing School of Health Sciences. Faculty will be on hand to show off the new space and light refreshments will be provided.

The Mount signed a seven-year lease for 7,600 square feet in a medical office down the road from the main campus. "We needed more space to accommodate more programs in the School of Health Sciences," said Darla Vale, Ph.D., dean of health sciences.

The building was converted to allow the School of Health Sciences nearly two floors of additional space for classrooms, extensive laboratory space for clinical skill practice, huddle rooms for small group discussions, and an open student area to facilitate interaction among students enrolled in healthcare professional programs including physical therapy and nursing.
