Mount president to take part in Beyond Civility’s discussion

Mount St. Joseph Univeristy President H. James Williams will join leaders from other local universities for a discussion on "Campus Protests, Public Safety, and Free Speech" on Tuesday, May 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the St. John's Unitarian Universalist Church. A reception will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The discussion is part of Beyond Civility, a program dedicated to bringing about diaglogue with community and civic leaders, to better understand points of view.

Other participants in the "Campus Protests, Public Safety, and Free Speech" include:

Verna Williams, Interim Dean, UC College of Law; Juan Guardia, Dean of Students, University of Cincinnati; John Paul Wright, Professor, University of Cincinnati; Nick Froelich, Student, Miami University.

WVXU will feature the speakers at 1 p.m. during the Cincinnati Edition on Wednesday to preview next week's program.
