Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s Performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream to be held at the Mount

ArtsWave presents…Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, sponsored by the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts, Fifth Third Bank Trustee, at the College of Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. in the College Theater. The event is open to the public. Tickets are free but required for assigned seating.

This robust and witty comedy is one of Shakespeare’s most popular works. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is a resident ensemble theater company that is celebrating its 20th anniversary during the 2013-14 season. The play will include one 15-minute intermission, for a total running time of less than two hours. The play is suitable for middle school students and older. Guests are invited to take a picture with a life-size cutout of “The Bard” in the lobby. The cast of the play will join the audience in the lobby after the performance.

Jennifer Vogel, senior graphic design major, designed the show program. Maria Tedesco, a senior fine arts major, designed a poster for the show. Students in The Cincinnati Arts Scene class will serve as ushers for the show.

The College of Mount St. Joseph is an undergraduate and graduate Catholic college that provides an interdisciplinary liberal arts and professional curriculum emphasizing values, service and social responsibility.
