Mount hosts Challenge Coin ceremony for graduated veterans

File Under: veterans, veterans in communities

College of Mount St. Joseph president Tony Aretz, Ph.D., will honor Mount alumni who have served in the military with the first Challenge Coin ceremony held at the College on Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Corona Room.

Challenge coins are traditional medallions that veterans carry to signify their performance of duty. This is the first time the Mount has designed challenge coins specifically for veterans who graduated from the College. Dr. Aretz is a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.

Veterans are invited to bring their families to the ceremony. To receive your Challenge Coin, please contact Lynn Taber at lynn_taber@mail.msj.edu or call 513-244-4622.
