The College of Mount St. Joseph will be holding an event called “Major Signing Day” for undeclared students in the Corona Room on Thursday, Oct. 18.
This is a “one-stop shop” event for any student who is ready to declare a major. During this event, students will have the opportunity to find out more information concerning the majors offered at the College.
“Declaring a major at this event is not mandatory, but we encourage attendance for students to gain valuable information, to meet with faculty, and to ask questions,” said Ashley Bruney of the Academic Advising Resource Center.
There will be an opportunity to complete paperwork, register to win prizes and to meet with the College of Mount St. Joseph mascot. Free pizza will be available to all those in attendance, courtesy of the Academic Advising Resource Center and the Career and Experiential Education Center.
Major Signing Day will begin at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m.
For students who have not declared their major after attending this event, each semester the College offers a CED 150 course that is designed for undeclared majors or for those considering changing their majors.
