Join the Mount as we celebrate the history and culture that is Black History Month. On March 5, we welcome social justice activist Christina Brown to speak. The reception is at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m. in the Mount's Theatre.

The celebration also features and art show, African dance by Corisha Lewis and Dunamis Mime Ministry.

"We are thrilled to have Christina Brown speak to our students and community, and celebrate Black History Month," said Dr. Terri Hurdle, director of diversity and inclusion at the Mount. "The event is free and all community members are welcome and encouraged to attend."

Thank you to the sponsors--the Mount's Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Black Student Union and the Diversity and Inclusion Programming Committee.
