An information session to discuss options in graduate nursing is planned for Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Seton Center at Mount St. Joseph University.
Graduate nursing professors and graduate admission counselors will be on hand to talk to nurses interested in expanding their careers and career options in nursing. The Mount offers graduate nursing programs including the MSN (master of science in nursing) and the DNP (doctor of nursing practice).
The Mount recently announced it received a grant to offer the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) for nurse educators. The NFLP loan covers the cost of tuition, fees and other reasonable education costs for eligible students. Up to 85% of the loan can be forgiven for those who complete their degree program and teach full-time at an accredited school of nursing.
