1960s

 

Mount Alumnae from Class of 1967 (pictured to the right) shared a wonderful reunion in Casco Bay, Maine in September 2015 to celebrate their 70th birthdays. They recalled many special Mount memories, held a memorial service for deceased classmates, shared amazing family updates and discussed ideas for their 50th class reunion in 2017.

Bernadette Coutain Plair ’67 of Centerville, Ohio, was a 2016 inductee into the Georgine Wolohan Masters Academy at The Mount Jubilee. The Georgine Wolohan Academy enriches the Mount’s student experience, better prepares students for life and career, and also provides a way for continued and meaningful alumni and community engagement.

 

1970s

 

Mount alumnae from the 1970s & 1980s gathered for Pat Shibinski’s 85th birthday party. Shibinski is a former Mount athletic director and retired professor.

Robyn Ruede Caponi ’72 of Indianapolis was the recipient of the 2016 Ann Rasche Award at The Mount Jubilee. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ignatian Solidarity Network, a national group dedicated to mobilizing people as social justice leaders.

Peg Bradley-Doppes ’79 of Denver was a 2016 inductee into the Georgine Wolohan Masters Academy at The Mount Jubilee. 2000s

 

2016 Future Five Award Recipients (pictured to the right)

Chris Eckes ’00 of Cincinnati was a recipient of the 2016 Future Five Award at The Mount Jubilee. He is the operations manager and chief curator for the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame. Eckes also serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters and is on the Finance Committee of the International Sports Heritage Association.

Debra Weber ’04 of Cincinnati was a recipient of the 2016 Future Five Award at The Mount Jubilee. She is the director of the Office of Peace, Justice and Care for Creation for the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati and collaborates with local and national organizations in educating and advocating for justice issues.

Melanie Pace ’05 of Cincinnati was the recipient of the Sr. Peg McPeak Alumni Award for the School of Arts and Humanities. Pace received worldwide attention for her series of photographs re-creating some of the images of her late sister’s wedding.

Nicholas Messinger ’08 of Cincinnati was a recipient of the 2016 Future Five Award at The Mount Jubilee. He is a faculty member at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy with a clinical practice in family medicine at St Elizabeth Health care. Messinger is also an assistant professor of pharmacy practice and administrative sciences and a certified diabetes educator.

Tim Prince ’10 of Cincinnati was a recipient of the 2016 Future Five Award at The Mount Jubilee. He is the human resource manager for the Kroger Company Prince is also a member of the Mount’s Business Advisory Board, serves on the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation Board of Trustees and is on the Business Education Connectivity Council Board for Cincinnati Public Schools.

John Lich, V ’12 of Indianapolis was the recipient of the 2016 Alumnus of the Year award from Mount St. Joseph University School of Business. Lich also serves as the President-Elect of the Mount Alumni Board.

Catherine (Cat) Perlson ’12 of Norwood, Ohio, was a recipient of the 2016 Future Five Award at The Mount Jubilee. She is an intervention specialist, life skills coach and academic advocate at Linden Grove School, a private school that offers an alternative learning program for students primarily diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Perlson is also a board member of The Young Professionals for Autism and Children Inc. and also volunteers with Autism Speaks.
