A few weeks ago the Mount’s Cincinnati Arts Scene class experienced firsthand the talent of Dawn Kelly, a 15-season veteran dancer with Cincinnati Ballet. The IDS course, taught by Dr. Elizabeth Barkley, explores the varying art forms that Cincinnati has to offer. The class is part lecture, but mostly taught through a series a field trips and hands-on experiences, such as the one featured in this photo story. Dateline photographer and senior art student Dana Langenbrunner captured the evening on film as Kelly taught the class some ballet basics.
