Art students from advanced drawing, painting, design and interior architecture and design classes at the College of Mount St. Joseph were invited by the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) to hold their second exhibition at the downtown gallery. The exhibition, in response to "Green Acres: Artists Farming Fields, Greenhouses and Abandoned Lots," offers and array of ecological themes. Each artist/designer has also written an artist statement explaining the nature of his or her work's association to Green Acres. The students were encouraged to consider their own questions, reactions and connections to the ideas of recycling, repurposing, ecovention, sustainability, biodiversity, DIY movements, and ecological awareness in their visual and written responses.

The Mount's Response show will be held Dec. 3-5 from 6-8 p.m. on Monday. In addition, the exhibit also has an extended showing this year--all day Tuesday and Wednesday until 3 p.m.
