Biography:

Dr. Kloos serves as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Religious and Pastoral studies. She has taught courses in theological reflection, pastoral ministry and systematic theology in degree programs as well as lay ministry development programs.

Having earned a D.Min. with a concentration in pastoral care from United Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton, Dr. Kloos has taught a number of interdisciplinary courses drawing on eco-theology, a first passion from her undergraduate studies in environmental studies. She has also done research in feminist methodologies for cross-cultural spiritual care.

Dr. Kloos leads students on immersion course trips to the US-Mexico border and Cherokee, North Carolina. She was the 1999 recipient of the Adele Clifford Excellence in Teaching Award at the Mount. Dr. Kloos is a member of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati.
