Climate Change, Global Security, and the Common Good

    University Theatre

On Thursday, November 13, the MSJ Environmental Action Committee will host "Climate Change, Global Security, and the Common Good". We will have two nationally-known speakers here for the day: Rear Admiral David Titley, USN (Ret.) and Dan Misleh, the Executive Director of the Catholic Climate Covenant.

There will be two programs on November 13, at 12:15 p.m. and at 7:00 p.m,. in the Theatre. At both programs, we will help connect the issues around climate change with Catholic Social Teaching, the Charity mission, and taking action for the common good, on both personal and public policy levels. Other speakers joining us for the day will include Marge Kloos (at noon), Leanne Jablonski of the University of Dayton and the Marianist Environmental Education Center(in the evening), and another theologian from Xavier. Numerous environmental organizations will also be present to offer information and avenues for action.
