Biography:

Yuking Chou Brandenburgh was a faculty member at Communiversity in Vienna, Austria, Music School in Steyr, Austria and Tainan University of Arts and Technology in Tainan, Taiwan). She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in piano performance from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and she is completing her Doctoral Degree at College-Conservatory of Music at The University of Cincinnati. She was a graduate assistant at the Instrumental Accompaniment Department and Secondary Piano Department at CCM.

 Yuking has been a member of the piano faculty at Mount St. Joseph University since 2009. Prior to that appointment she was a winner of several international piano competitions, such as 2nd prize at the “Kimiko-Sato” Music Competition in Vienna Austria, 3rd prize at the “Finale Ligure” Piano Competition in Italy, 3rd prize at the “Maria Canals“ Jeunesse Piano Competition in Barcelona, Spain. She was selected to present her research poster at the Music Teachers National Association 2009 National Conference in Atlanta, GA.
