Biography:
Dr. Kishman is chair and an associate professor in the Department of Nursing. She received her Ph.D. and M.S.N. degrees from the University of Cincinnati and earned her B.S.N. from Xavier University.
A Cincinnati native, Professor Kishman has 18 years of undergraduate and graduate teaching experience, and her primary clinical background is in the area of pediatric burns. Dr. Kishman's interests include qualitative research, pediatric burns and mentoring clinical adjuncts. She is also a member and officer of Sigma Theta Tau International, Omicron-Omicron Chapter at Large.
Professor Kishman is a Eucharistic Minister and lector at St. Catharine Church in Westwood. Her favorite activities include hiking, camping, reading, and knitting. She also loves all animals and currently has two cats.
