Biography:
Dr. Karen Holtgrefe graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 1982 with a BS in Physical Therapy. She completed her MHS and DHS degrees from the University of Indianapolis in 1998 and 2006, respectively. Currently she is Associate Professor of Physical Therapy with teaching responsibilities focused on acute care and cardiopulmonary evaluation and treatment, research and evidenced based physical therapy practice, and exercise physiology. Dr. Holtgrefe has a long record of local, state, regional, and national seminars on medical screening, acute care, and cardiopulmonary topics, and presented at World Congress of Physical Therapy in Amsterdam, June 2011.
