Dr. Ballard is a professor of management in the Department of Business Administration. He earned his Ph.D. in Social-Personality Psychology from Purdue University, an M.A. in General-Experimental Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences from the United States Air Force Academy.
Professor Ballard has served on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Learning & Education journal and has over 50 refereed papers and presentations. His interest is trying to make academic studies of leadership and management more accessible to those who lead and manage.
