Biography:

Professor Rigby is an assistant professor in the Department of Nursing. She received her M.S.N. from Emory University and a B.S.N. from the University of Kentucky.

Prior to coming to the Mount, Professor Rigby was an educator in the Nurse Transition Program at St. Elizabeth where she supported and taught new graduate nurses. She has experience in medical-surgial nursing, administration and education and has worked in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Boston.

Professor Rigby's personal interests include spending time with her family and going to her children's ball games, cheer and dance competitions. She also enjoys Pure Barre, tennis and eating at her favorite restaurants.
