Biography:

Mrs. Emery is a graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of Education. She has a diverse background in education including teaching, leadership and program development experiences. She has held leadership positions within the Multicultural Community as a Director of Education and Development at Su Casa Hispanic Center as well as Director of Education within the Latino and Multicultural Center for Regional Development at Northern Kentucky University. She has taught as an Intervention Specialist, an Early Intervention Specialist as well as Family Educator. She has taught Strengthening Multiethnic Families Parenting program in addition to teaching the Parents as Teachers (P.A.T.) Curriculum.      

Mrs. Emery currently supervises and coordinates the clinical placements within the TEAM MSE program as well as teaches clinical courses associated with field experiences. She is continuing her education at Concordia University in Chicago as a Doctoral Candidate within their EdD program. Her interests include International Comparative Education in Special Education with a focus on Munich Germany.
