Do you ever have a week that seems to never end, which was this week for me! I feel very overwhelmed and overworked, and there are still about 10 more weeks in the semester! I feel like I have overextended myself, all I want to do is have time to sit and catch my breath. I find myself very envious of people who are able to actually have a life outside of homework. My day consists of getting up, class, work, going home, SGA responsibilities/other club and organization duties, homework and bed, if time allows. This schedule is repeated everyday and it’s taking a toll on me.
Now for some MSJ news… This week SGA is sponsoring Safety Week! I know when I was looking at colleges, safety on the campus was an important thing for me to consider. The Mount has an excellent and well equipped police force. They are always available to escort you to and from your car at any time of the day. I know from experience, even at 3am they were always willing to come and escort me from the art building to the Seton Center, where the dorms are located. Last year SGA sponsored safety week which I attended. I attended the session where some of the police officers were giving a lecture on self defense. I learned so much about self defense and how to protect myself in case I was ever in danger. Well that’s about all the interesting and exciting news that I know of. Talk to you soon J
