Recent grant awards have supported the renovation of the Art Building, College Theatrem, Nursing Learning Lab, and green roof; strategic initiatives in ethical leadership; new technology; new academic programs in reading science and a master’s in nursing; financial aid for low-income parents who use the Children’s Center; scholarships for teachers and nurses; and summer employment placing Mount students in non-profit agencies. Funding also supported a tobacco-free cessation program for faculty, staff and students and federal funding supports Upward Bound.
