Information to help veterans apply to the College of Mount St. Joseph.
Credit for Military Education
We understand that your experience in the military is unique, and we value that. The College of Mount St. Joseph will work to award credit for your military education, and help ease your transition to college.
The American Council on Education’s (ACE) Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services is the standard reference for recognizing learning acquired in the military. The Mount awards credit for professional military education based on evaluations and credit recommendations as set forth in the ACE Guide. While ACE has not evaluated all courses and trainings, we will award most students approximately 4-5 credit hours for Basic Training.
To request a copy of your military transcripts, visit Army, Navy/Marines (secure access only), Air Force, or Coast Guard.
