High School Students | Mount St. Joseph University

If you're just about to graduate from high school, or if you've graduated in the last four years, you're in the right place. Each year around 300 freshmen join Mount St. Joseph University community for our strong liberal arts, science and professional curriculum. They join a campus of scholars who value service, integrity and social responsibility.

Admission Requirements

Mount St. Joseph University conducts an individual, comprehensive review of each candidate’s credentials for admission, including but not limited to the following:

College prep high school curriculum
Standardized test scores
Evidence of leadership
Extracurricular involvement

We look at each student as an individual, taking into consideration personal background, attributes and life circumstances. We look for students who'll contribute to, and benefit from, the Mount's educational programs and activities. For more details regarding our comprehensive review visit our Admission Requirements page.

Why the Mount?

Students come to the Mount because they know our small class sizes mean individual attention from actual professors, not from teaching assistants or graduate students. They love being close to downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, and find great support through our many academic and career resources.
