The Department of Organizational Leadership focuses on effective decision making, technology and relationships within organizations.

The Department of Organizational Leadership focuses on effective decision making, technology and relationships within organizations. Students learn to apply theories of leadership and management to professional practice at the personal, interpersonal, team and organizational levels. Students use principles of team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution to build productive partnerships.

Students who successfully complete the organizational leadership major learn to:

  • Comprehend foundations of business essential to leadership.
  • Develop ethical and socially responsible approaches to organizational decision-making and problem solving.

The College of Mount St. Joseph offers both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership. Our master's program is also offered at off-campus institutions.
