The Department of Communication Studies works to deepen students’ understanding of the formative role communication plays in shaping:

Students who choose a communication studies degree learn to apply communication theory and critical thinking in various communication settings. They learn about the role communication plays in the social construction of meaning, and develop the ability to communicate effectively, ethically and creatively.

We offer a Bachelor of Arts or Associate in Arts degree in communication studies. We offer minors in communication studies and written communication.
