Flying Time

I can't believe that time is passing so fast! I remember waking up on Monday morning, and thinking, oh my gosh! It's Monday! Where did my weekend go!? And it's another week that I have to deal with. And now, here I am. Sitting in my house, watching TV, and I can't believe that this week has flown by completely! It's the weekend again and with the few plans that I do have, it's gonna go by so slowly.

Yesterday and today were days that the poster sale went on at the Mount. There's a company that comes in and sells their posters, tapestries, frames, sticky tack, post cards, and memrobilia to the students. My friend Jimmie even got to make some money while they were here. They asked if anyone was interested in helping them out with keeping things clean and then help them pack up when they left. He offered to help and they're paying him for it. :) It's pretty cool actually. I ended up getting three posters. One is a kitten that is struggling to hold on a tree branch and it says, "Oh, Shit" on it. It's pretty funny actually. The other says "Attitude is everything in life" then it has four mugs. The first is half full (technically half empty) and says pessimist. The second is full from the middle up but empty under the drink to the bottom. That ones is optimist. The third one has the drink floating above the mug and it's the spritualist. And the last one was completely empty and it's the realist. It's actually really funny. :) The third poster is 101 Famous Movie Quotes. It's quite interesting to read and learn about some movies I've never even heard of. This sale is once a year at about the same time so I'm looking forward to seeing it again next year at the Mount.

Tonight, I have plans to hang out with my mom and eat dinner and go shopping and just have fun. I haven't seen her since last Sunday and I know it's a very hard time for her to not have me at home all the time like she's used to. I am also sad that I don't get to see her everyday but we're both dealing with it by texting constantly, talking on the phone regularly, and using our web cams. :)

Also, I have plans to hang out with two of my friends, Kristy and John, on Saturday night and CAB has an event scheduled on Sunday afternoon to go to a Corn Maze. That should be an adventure. That's one of the perks of being a part of CAB. You get to find out about all the fun things that are going on at the Mount. :) As for the rest of the week, it'll just be classes, reading, TV shows (I think there a few premieres of shows this week but I can't remember which ones off the top of my head. My roommate, Maria, and I have a calendar in which we have all our shows and their premiere dates and times so we can remember when to watch our shows :) .), CAB events and flyers, and Dateline should be having their first issue coming on the stands sometime in the middle of the week I believe.

Not much is really going on this week or have happened this past week so it's been kind of a bore around school for me... But I'm sure it'll perk up sooner or later. :)
